     Based in Nashville, TN, Sydney J. Gales is a dedicated stage manager with over five years of experience in theatre, musicals, and opera. Her passion lies in the art of calling shows and keeping the backstage environment running smoothly and collaboratively.

     Sydney’s stage management approach is built on adaptability, clear communication, and fostering connection. She believes that a production thrives when the team feels like family — and she works intentionally to build those relationships with cast and crew alike. Whether she's navigating complex cues or managing backstage dynamics, Sydney brings organization, professionalism, and warmth to every production.

     She holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and a B.S. in Organizational Communication, along with specialized certifications including First Aid/CPR/AED from Red Cross and Best Practices for Consent-Based Work with Minors from Theatrical Intimacy Education.

     Her experience includes time as an Administrative Intern with Nashville Opera, where she developed her broader interest in arts administration, passions that continue to inform her holistic understanding of the theatrical process.
